Training with a purpose

Mental Health Motorbike, which Tim has partnered with since 2024, has trained nearly 1,000 mental health first aiders since its launch. The course, accessible to almost anyone across the UK, is delivered in four evening online sessions and equips participants with practical skills to support those experiencing mental health challenges.

Tim put his new skills to the test almost immediately. “Just hours after completing the course, a fire broke out at a storage unit I was involved with,” he explains. “It was a real-world reminder of how vital these skills can be — and how important it is to act calmly and supportively when someone is struggling.”

Ongoing support and awareness

As part of his continued collaboration with MHM, Tim will proudly feature the Mental Health Motorbike Mental Health First Aider logo in 2025, alongside the charity’s existing branding on his clothing and at events.

“Completing this training has given me confidence to help others in difficult situations, and I’m committed to using my platform to raise awareness and reduce stigma,” Tim says.

A meaningful partnership

Mental Health Motorbike offers free face-to-face and online mental health first aid and peer support, primarily aimed at the biker community but open to anyone. Tim’s partnership with the charity reflects his ongoing dedication to mental health, personal growth, and community support.

“Tim’s dedication to being approachable, authentic, and proactive aligns perfectly with our mission,” says Paul Oxborough, founder of MHM. “We’re proud to see him become a qualified Mental Health First Aider and to continue working together in 2025.”
