Our Tim loses beloved Collection in Storage Unit Fire

Presenter and event compere Tim Watson, known as Our Tim, has suffered a devastating loss after a fire gutted a storage unit just 48 hours after he moved in. The blaze, which broke out in an office within the same building, destroyed the entire facility.

Tim lost nearly everything he had stored, including his £5,000 PA system, all merchandise, branding materials, and personal items of immense sentimental value, such as his beloved slot car collection, which he had been building for more than 30 years. Many rare parts for his collection of cars were also destroyed.

Thankfully, no one was injured in the fire. However, the timing proved particularly cruel — insurance coverage had not yet been confirmed when the fire occurred, meaning the loss is a total one.

Tim shared a heartfelt message about the fire and his loss in a YouTube video, reflecting on the suddenness of the event and expressing gratitude for the support he has already received from fans and the community.

While the setback is significant, Tim remains determined to continue his work as a presenter, content creator, and event compere, and is already planning how to rebuild his equipment, collections, and materials.
