Tim began his career in local commercial radio before joining the BBC and eventually going freelance in 2011. NOT A YOUTUBER
Tim has always had a hands-on love for mechanics and a lifelong passion for all things that move, from trains and tanks to trucks, bikes, and especially cars.
Whether he’s on stage or in front of a camera, Tim thrives on sharing that enthusiasm with others. What underpins his natural energy is a wealth of experience and achievement, including:
-
Higher Education Certificate in Mechanical Engineering – Brunel University
-
BA (Hons) First Class in Journalism & Media – Coventry University
-
MA with Distinction in Automotive Journalism – Coventry University
-
Guinness World Record Holder – Largest Parade of Ferrari Cars (2012–present)
-
Qualified Mental Health First Aider
-
Cut from over 50 cars by fire and rescue teams during live vehicle extrication demonstrations - including one that had been crushed by a tank!
When he’s not working, Tim is a devoted husband to his wife, Sam, and proud father to their two daughters. While Tim keeps his family life private and separate from his public content, one member of the household - the ever-vocal family dog, Willow - occasionally makes a cameo.
Since 2011, Tim has presented live shows, events, and video coverage with an infectious enthusiasm and deep insight into the vehicles he loves.
Over the years, he has hosted more than 150 events across 200+ days, engaging with over 600,000 people in live audiences, and more than 100,000 vehicles have taken part in the shows he brings to life.
