Presenter and event compere Tim Watson, better known by his stage name Our Tim, has announced a new partnership with Mental Health Motorbike, a UK charity providing vital mental health support for the biker community.

Mental Health Motorbike offers free, face-to-face and online mental health first aid and peer support to bikers across the country. Their mission is to create meaningful and purposeful opportunities for all riders — helping to grow wellbeing, resilience, and connection through community.

This collaboration is one that holds deep personal meaning for Tim. While many know him as a confident, upbeat presenter, Tim has been open about his own experiences with low mood, self-esteem, and seeking professional help. His honest approach has made him a relatable figure to many, both on stage and online.

“People often see me as someone full of confidence and energy,” says Tim, “but like many others, I’ve had my own struggles with mental health. When I heard mental health being mocked at a recent event, it really hit home how much stigma still exists — and that’s when I knew I needed to do something about it.”

A genuine partnership built on shared values

Through this partnership, Tim will proudly display the Mental Health Motorbike logo on his branded clothing and feature the charity across his YouTube channel, social media platforms, and at the 17 live events he’s set to present throughout 2024 and beyond.

He will also work directly with the MHM team to support their events and initiatives, using his growing online presence to help promote awareness and understanding within the biker and events communities.

In addition, Tim plans to complete a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course, furthering his commitment to offering informed support and empathy to others who may be struggling.

“Our Tim has built his brand on being real, approachable, and authentic — values that align perfectly with what Mental Health Motorbike stands for,” says Paul Oxborough, founder of the charity. “We’re thrilled to have his support as we continue building a stronger, more connected biker community.”

More than a collaboration

For Tim, this partnership isn’t about publicity — it’s about purpose. His philosophy has always been to “do what’s right, not what’s easy,” and to use his platform to make a positive difference wherever possible.

“If one person feels seen, supported, or encouraged to reach out for help because of this partnership,” Tim explains, “then everything I’ve built with Our Tim has achieved its greatest goal.”
