Presenter and event compere Tim Watson, known as Our Tim, brought a new level of live content creation to the 2024 Classic Motor Show, celebrating 40 years at the NEC. For the first time, Tim produced video content in real time, with every step - from capturing the first clip to uploading the final edit - displayed live on the big screen for attendees to watch. Fans could see the entire creative process unfold, offering a rare behind-the-scenes insight into professional video production.

Adding a personal touch to his stand in Hall 2, Tim showcased his beloved ultra-rare Calibra Turbo, transporting all supporting materials to and from the NEC in this iconic 1994 example. With only 15 Calibra Turbos on the road, this Phase One model, finished in Aurora High Voltage, is one of the very few roadworthy examples in existence. Its presence drew attention from car enthusiasts across the show, who were eager to see this rare example up close.
During the event, Tim filmed, edited, and uploaded four full-length videos, including a detailed product review, giving fans a comprehensive look at the show as it happened. One of the most important of these was the Show Report video, which covered every hall of the sprawling six-hall event and was one of the first show reports to be published online.
Tim’s approach to content creation extends far beyond the Classic Motor Show. Throughout the year, he produces rapid video edits while commentating at shows and events, capturing every moment and bringing it to life for a global audience. Every video is uploaded the same day, ensuring fans around the world can experience events in real time, even if they can’t attend in person.

His live editing display at the Classic Motor Show not only entertained visitors but also showcased the power and immediacy of on-the-spot content creation, blending classic car enthusiasm with modern media skills.
